The Virgo new moon on August 30th at 6:32 am (EST) officially ushers us into a new lunar cycle ruled by the zodiac sign Virgo. Although the new moon phase only last for approximately 3 days, we will continue to feel the influence of Virgo over the next 28 days. Say good-bye to the fiery, action-oriented energy of the Leo lunar month; it’s now time to buckle down, focus, and take practical actions to balance and sustain.

The sun and Venus were boo’ed up most of August solidifying Leo season as a season of growth. The last couple of months the universal energies have been hitting our emotional side, we’ve been doing a lot of inner work and healing. Now that Virgo has the reigns you’ll feel an intuitive shift towards taking care of your physical body and creating healthier, balanced daily routines and practices. Use the first two weeks after the new moon for doctor visits, creating a fitness routine, doing a detox, and reorganizing or creating a schedule and budget. The goal this month is to create effective process, schedules, and systems. Although it’s not sexy or exciting, having a system will help your life, career, health, and day to day routines run smoothly making it easier to sustain growth.
